COMPARISON AND ANALYSIS OF EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION IN CROSS-CULTURE PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Abstract
With the development of global economy, more and more projects in construction and real estate are carried out under the circumstance of international cooperation. In such cross-culture project management, the variety of team members leads to the complexity of the employee management and motivation. Due to the different culture background, location and historical environment of each country, the effective motivation expectation for team members varies with the management ideology in different nations. In this article, the different management ideology in China, Japan and U.S.A. will be discussed and the team member motivation method in cross-culture project team will be further compared and discussed.
